Smug Alert

.
This photo has just won me a Fujifilm S100FS camera in their March competition.

The Willow Harvester

I think this might be the first competition I’ve ever won.

Ever.

These things never happen to me. In the Statistical Bell Curve of Competitions, I’ve always languished down in the tail end where winning just doesn’t happen.

Until now.

*Grin*

Smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug, smug...

YAAAAY! That's a great photo and now you've discovered the rule of competitions: You're only a loser until the day you win. Everybody has to do their stint in the losing camp first, but some people get so discouraged they just stop trying. And I think some people justify not trying by saying that a few efforts garnered them zip all...

Do me a favor and submit more, Kim -- both of writing and photographs. Because you are definitely a winner. But for the time being, just smile yourself silly!
