Normal Service Will Resume Shortly... if we ever figure out what normal is...

During the "comedy moment" on the radio today some comedian was talking about how one of Tiger Woods' mistresses said his sexual fantasies were "abnormal." The comedian said that when a man's fantasies are normal, that's abnormal.

Hope that helps you sort it out.

If you ever do find out, let me know.... god no! do we have to wait that long? :)n

Hey Bearded One - that's something we may never figure out! But while you wait, check out how thin you look in that toaster!!!!!!

No such thing as Normal! Love the kooky shot of you in the toaster. You're such a card! I love it.

Normal is highly overrated. I LOVE the picture :)

What's George Michael doing in your kitchen?
Though it could make a great series of photos...what else could you be reflected in?

The toaster smiling like a goof at the teakettle. Looks normal to me.

I looked up 'normal' being unsure of its meaning, too, and found hundreds of definitions and sub-definitions but like this one: Relating to or characteristic of a superconducting substance that is not in the superconducting state. Freq. in normal state. (OED: online)

That is a great photo! If this is the sort of thing you were talking about re landscapes etc, then please allow me to "ooooohhh" ... "aaaarrgggh" (why does that last one sound like I'm impersonating a pirate?}

Loved the photo in the toaster. I don't think my toaster is shiny enough to get a reflection anymore.

Normal is not normal.

Life is much to short to normal.

I always thought Normal was a town in Illinois, in the States.

Then again, maybe it's a state of mind I don't care to visit. :0

Haha that picture really made me laugh! Normal isn't always a good thing, being a bit strange or weird makes life a lot more fun (mostly).

I love the pic too.

Can we see some more of your portrait shots? I'd love to have a portrait shot by you Kim.

A friend of mine, Martin Figura once shot a load of portraits of Army officers which really showed what life was like for each of them. My photo never got into the book *rolls eyes* :)

Pollinatrix - generally speaking no one tends to have normal fantasies, otherwise they wouldn't be fantasies, would they? :)

Katie - I wouldn't hold your breath in anticipation...

Helen - if more hall mirrors were made out of toasters then perhaps the world would be a happier place...

Bonequinhoda - :)

Emma - :)

Erika - thank you. And I've come to believe normal is a myth anyway :)

Rachel - I think George Michael's career would have gone down the tubes long ago if he looked like that... However, the photo series idea is a good one - I'll have a think about that :)

V - I'm fine - well, no less than usual anyway :)

Pat - not a great deal, I just couldn't think of what to write, and this photo made Maggie laugh :)

Mapstew - with that WV you'd better not put too much butter and jam on your toast then...

Charlie - normal for you is an entirely different world to the rest of us :)

Eryl - by golly, I think you're on to something!

Savannah - thank you :)

Library Girl - that'll be the inserted "r"s and "g"s :)

Suz - time to clean the jam off then!

Fay - very true

Hope - don't worry, they probably wouldn't let us in anyway :)

Gitta - it all depends what job intereview you're sitting in...

Helen Mac - I'm just in the process of putting up a new post with some of my more recent portrait shots. What I'd be interested in knowing is whether they make you more, or less intersted in having your portrait shot by me :)
