Calvin & Hobbes

I always had a soft spot for Calvin and Hobbes, and rummaging through folders on my computer I stumbled across this one yesterday. When I was a full time businessman running the web design company, this episode was by far and away my favourite one. I still think it's damned funny.

Good for a chuckle.

A toaster can be just as disobedient as a child any day!

C&H - by far the best strip of all time! Even Blunt Cogs pales in comparison, I'm afraid!

Gyrobo - but a toaster can only create havoc at breakfast time.

Ivar - welcome to my ramblings. You are clearly an astute observer :)

Binty - I can't help but agree.

Did they stop making C&H?

Or was that only Peanuts?

Best thing about Mr. Waterson is, he ended the strip before it became painful. Nothing sadder than watching a once brilliant strip (i.e. Doonesberry or Bloom County) whither and rot into something pathetic.

They recently released a complete collection, three hardbacks. Been meaning to get hold of them...

Ahhhh yes, Calvin and Hobbes. Truly it am the yardstick by which all strips are/should be judged. Kim & Binty, me can only agree with you in so far as to big time syndicated strips. Me have seen some undergrounds that are arguably as good and possibly better, but they never got over more than say, 50 or 60 strips before they died.

Gyrobo - I think Asher answered that one

Asher - you could be right.

Binty - I'll keep an eye out

Monstee - well Blunt Cogs already has over 70 strips, so you never know.

We've done that many!? Wow, I hadn't even realised!
