but if it's good, so worth it! ;) some say chewing on a sprig of parsley helps... xoxox
Don't do it Kim! It's a trap.
There is nothing that a little garlic can't improve. And it's good in this economy - it stays with you for a long time - you certainly get your money's worth.
Which is exactly why everyone needs to eat it together.
awwww but so so so worth it..and hey they say garlic is good for you. Besides your married of all the "smells" found within a family I am sure garlic breath isn't the worst one to ever be experienced ..hahaha
In our home garlic bread is a favorite but so too are garlic mashed potatoes. my whole house smells like garlic for 17 hours!!!
Your point being? Because that ain't gonna stop me.
Heartburn? That tries.
Savannah - parsley? Yeauch...
FMC - now she tells me...
Brave Astronaut - and it keeps the vampires away!
Debra - the family that garlics together...
KarateMom - strangely I never ever smell the garlic on Maggie's breath, but she really smells it on mine.
Anna - no point, just an observation :)
When I was young I would go to all sorts of lengths to rid my breath of the smell of garlic, stopping short only of not actually eating the garlic in the first place. Now I just think 'stay away from me if you don't like it!'
strangely I never ever smell the garlic on Maggie's breath
You must do what I do. When Martha eats garlic I sleep in the back yard for a few days.
Thanks for that - not! I convinced myself I wasn't hungry at bed- time. Now I'm ravenous!
suspicious mind at work here:
is your post about garlic bread anything to do with the advert for odourless garlic at the top of the page????
please tell me your not a sell out
In the words of Homer Simpson, "mmmm, Garlic...."
Eryl - life's so much easier when it's someone elses problem :)
Charlie - you mean you don't make Martha sleep in the backyard? Wot a gent!
Pat - not a good thing to eat before bedtime. Cup of hot chocolate ought to do it
BD Barman - wrong way round - the ads are placed depending on the text on the page, to make the contextual. Earlier on I was seeing ones for Lanterns and Eddi Reader
LegalMist - can you get Garlic Beer I wonder?
phew. thought ud selt oot!!!!
I wouldn't sell out for a clove of Garlic. Chocolate truffles, perhaps, but not garlic.
oh well, it'll keep the vampires away, right?
mmmmmm chocolate mmmmmmmm truffles mmmmmmmchocolate truffles ggggg droooooooool
yer making me hungry!!!!
Ah, but Kim -- the memory lasts a lot longer!
Jessie - unless the vampires also happen to be French chefs...
BD Barman - and my wife makes the finest chocolate truffles known to humankind. They are so dangerous we can only have them once a year
Mary - only if the experience is dodgy...
very insightful.
(i'd have to change "lasts" to 17 seconds)

The more of it you consume, the less it reeks.
Keep it coming, it's good for the blood too.
Sarah - well, I was trying to think of a basket full at a mealtime. But you could be right...
BD Barman - Can't say I know Terry Kelly? Anything I should know anout him?
Conan - so long as it doesn't add iron. It wouldn't help my haemochromatosis...
