It was an object lesson in the kindness of children and their matter-of-fact acceptance of someone who couldn't do what they did, but who was actually tougher and braver than any of them.Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00822383355869390919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15322620.post-66447039048131150702008-02-28T17:34:00.000+00:002008-02-28T17:34:00.000+00:00Anna - I sometimes think that to many people have ...Anna - I sometimes think that to many people have bought into the marketing world's assertions and believe they are entitled to a perfect life, and if anything falls slightly below that perceived ideal then they have the right to take it back and demand compensation.

TheAmpuT - the minute we see people as individuals rather than some homogenised generalisation, it becomes obvious

FLG - thanks :)

Carole - TV shows don't like men with beards as hosts (although they probably like women with beards even less).Kim Ayreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02656677501116622953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15322620.post-20631890755675322292008-02-28T14:47:00.000+00:002008-02-28T14:47:00.000+00:00Let's try this again without so many errors.I thou...Let's try this again without so many errors.

I thought you did a great job with this piece Kim. You get up every day and do the things it takes to get through the day. My cousin gets a lot of people asking what my niece's diagnosis is. Everyone wants to know. What difference does knowing make to how the live their lives? Either way, they get up every day and just do it. Good for you for resisting some of those questions.Anna van Schurmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09545037218589039870noreply@blogger.com
